In terms of hiking, Pinnacle Mountain State Park should be high on your list of regions worth exploring. Mount Magazine is also nearby, and it happens to be the highest peak in the entire state. That hike takes just a few hours and is worth summiting for the bragging rights alone! We’d also recommend checking out Wildwood park — a hub for music and performance art. The park is 104-acres large, featuring myriad gardens and oases. This is a great place to read a book for the afternoon or to picnic with that special someone!
